An Ice Touch
 
We thought we'd seen it all. But this martini luge and garnish buffet had us gawking like a couple of almost-21-year-olds. The martinis were icy cold and nicely balanced, but there wasn't a bottle of Noilly Prat in sight. Troy the restaurant manager explained the trick. The ice the glasses were chilling in had been drenched in dry vermouth.
